Alison encourages people to ‘Wear it Pink’ next Friday

We’re fast approaching Breast Cancer
Now’s annual ‘Wear it Pink’ fundraiser. Each year, people from all over
wear pink to these awareness of breast cancer and the work that Breast Cancer Now do. This has led to ‘Wear it Pink’ raising over £33 million since
launching in 2002. Being diagnosed with breast cancer can turn your world upside
down. Around 4,700 women in Scotland are faced with this diagnosis every year.
Breast Cancer Now works with women throughout the UK providing care and
assistance to them and their families whilst also conducting world-class research
on the prevention and managing of breast cancer. So I’m encouraging everyone to
wear something pink next Friday, the 18th of October, because we need to keep
raising awareness of the wonderful work this charity does.
