#crochet/ Women’s cardigan/simple & beautiful

Hello friends, welcome back to my channel In today’s video we are going to crochet this beautiful Front Open Women’s cardigan, I named it as “Happy Garden Cardigan” because I have designed a small bud like pattern in between the cardigan I have used three main stitches in this project, 1st double crochet stitch (dc), 2nd cluster stitches, 3rd elongated granny square stitch I have used Ganga Spectrum yarn for this with 4.5mm crochet hook If u like my efforts then please subscribe to my channel & hit the like bell icon for future notification, I really appreciate it If u like then please like & share this video with ur family & friends, u can also follow me on my Facebook page “Shagun Crochet DIY” So let’s start the fun We will made this cardigan in one piece (which includes front & back parts) First we will measure circumference of butt area, & then we start chaining & again measure circumference to check whether the chain is too tight & or too loose One thing to keep in mind, that the chains of both back & front will be equal, suppose if u have 30 chains in back then u will also 30 chains in front (which will further divided into half-half 15 chains each side of front part) We will make it in one piece till the arm hole (when we reach at arm hole), we will leave space for sleeves & continue making our cardigan After leaving arm hole we have two front side & one back side and then we will crochet all three parts alone (I hope I make it, again if u have any query regarding this feel free to ask) So let’s start, first make a chain of required length & then add 2 chains extra, (I have 12 chains for demonstration only) and into the 4th chain start making a row double crochet stitch throughout chains now I am going to show u how I made this bud, bud is always be created on back/opposite side off the cardigan so for that first chain 4 and turn ur work into same space we are going to make 4 unfinished elongated double crochet for that yarn over the hook two times insert the hook into same space grab yarn, now we have four loops on hook, then yarn over & pull-through two loops again yarn over & pull through next two loops then we have two loops on the hook, again we will repeat this process two more times into the same space, then at the end we have three loops (only on corners of cardigan, else we have 4 loops at the end), then we pull through all the loops into the next double crochet make one single crochet that’s how we create a bud into next double crochet stitch we will create a bud/cluster stitch into the next double crochet make one single crochet bud/cluster stitch will only made on opposite/back side of ur cardigan after completing bud/cluster stitch, chain 1 & turn ur work, make a single crochet row into each stitch (always count ur stitches) in the next line chain 1 trun ur work, one sinle crochet stitch into same stitch & into next stitch make a bus stitch (alternate way) I have made three rows of bud/cluster stitch in the beginning of cardigan After that make 5 to 6 row of double crochet After that we will make elongated granny square row For that chain 4, turn ur work yarn over the hook insert hook into same space, now we have 3 loops on hooks, yarn over pull through one loop, yarn over pull through two loop again yarn over pull through all loops Skip 2 double crochet, into 3rd double crochet make a elongated granny square stitch After completing row chain 4, turn ur work & now we will make elongated granny square stitch in between these gaps I have completed 5 rows of elongated granny square stitch After completing these elongated granny square row we will one double crochet into each stitch, we will NOT work on spaces I have completed my length of the cardigan after leaving arm hole space (without decreasing any stitches) crochet all back & front side upto shoulder length Now we will join the ends either by sewing or by crocheting Pick up the ends off shoulder and start joining For arms we are going to join our yarn at end of arm hole chain 3 & start making double crochet row, take ur time & start finding the gaps & start making double crochet I have total 60 double crochet in first round of sleeves In the next row of sleeves make double crochet over double crochet stitch (simple repetition of first round) Into third row we will elongated granny square stitch (on the above side of sleeves) in sleeves, for that divide ur sleeves stitch into half and mark it by marker, (suppose if u have 40 stitches in sleeves then leave 20 stitches on top of sleeves and divide other 20 stitches into half, 10-10 stitches each side, 10 double crochet stitches + will elongated granny square stitch + 10 double crochet stitches) if u want then u can also make a full sequence of (on the above side of sleeves) I have decided to make bud/cluster stitch on sleeves border, it’s a totally optional if u want then make it or leave it πŸ™‚ For that make one row of double crochet, join the circle start making bud row sequences (bud/cluster row then single crochet row) Chain 4, & turn ur work opposite side of the cardigan because we will make bus stitch on opposite side of cardigan I have completed 3 rows of bud stitches in border of sleeves After that made 2 rows of half double crochet to close sleeves. For finishing, I have made a border around the cardigan, a simple double crochet row (as shown) Take ur time & find the gap make 2 double crochet stitches in each space After that I have completed 2 more row of half double crochet on top of every double crochet stitches I hope, that u all like my video & this project If u like my videos and my efforts then please subscribe to my channel, & hit the bell icon for future notification If u like then please like & share this video with ur family & friends, u can also follow me on my Facebook page “Shagun Crochet DIY” If u have any query then feel free to ask in the comment box Thank u for watching & Happy crocheting πŸ™‚
