DIY Halloween Costume: Bath Loofah Sponge [Quick & Easy]


need a costume fast I’ve got just the solution for you welcome to the halloween edition of the sewing report i’m jennifer moore helping you discover your love of sewing this is what i’m dressing up as I started off with this T-shirt and then I got 10 yards of tulle that matched the t shirt color and I safety pinned it all over the shirt while it was sitting on a dress form to kind of replicate the loofah sponge look and then I took this nylon rope and I safety pinned it to the t-shirt and it only took me about an hour to do this then i added some accessories and made this hat using a template i found online for free some elastic band and then I hot glued some polyfil a rubber ducky and then some rhinestones kind of make it look like it was wet I have this caddy already so i put this handheld showerhead it some empty shampoo and conditioner bottles and this bubble solution which brings me to my next accessory that’s really gonna up the wow factor to complete the look I’m going to carry around this kids bubble machine it was about 23 dollars on amazon it’s battery-operated so you don’t need to plug it in and I’m going to demonstrate this next just like that you’ve got a quick relatively affordable costume you can wear anywhere its work appropriate and one thing i like about this is that I’m not committing the tulle to just this one project i can unpin it and use it for something else later guys if you liked this video be sure to subscribe to the channel so you can join in on all the fun i will see you next time ok
