Gok Wan’s three ways to wear colour

[Music] Now, there’s a tendency in the summer to start reaching into your wardrobe looking for some splashes of colour and some wonderful tones that really tell you’re not in winter any longer. Well listen, I’ve got some absolutely sure-fire solutions for you to inject some colour into your wardrobe without looking as if you’re
a bag of sweets. Now, I absolutely adore this. First of all, the skirt feels kind of sixties
but actually the colours make it feel very contemporary as well. Now, I’ve twinned it with a very simple white sweater to let those colours bounce out and then over the top of it, this beautiful trench coat in this camel colour with the gold brass buttons. Colour blocking is all about clashing different tones. And so this beautiful, bright tangerine orange dress. Very simple, shift with a dart detail over the bust and then clashing against the white trainer. I think it’s great. If you can’t work out which colours you ought to wear, why not choose a print that’s going to do the work for you? This top is absolutely packed with gorgeous tones. Orange, yellow, teal, cobalt blue and I’ve
twinned it together with this green skirt. It’s as easy as that, girls. Fashion shouldn’t be hard, just wear what you like. Especially if it’s this outfit.
