How to: Turn an UGLY Dress Into A Wearable Shirt!

*Music starting* *Music playing* *Music fading* I filmed this for a whole hour, not knowing how ridiculous I looked. Anyways, on with the video! So, first thing you want to do, is line up your dress and cut along-just to see-the test- that’s gonna be your test cut. You don’t want this to be your
actual length, and if it’s good, then keep going. If not, get you some fabric scissors. You can get ’em from Target, or whatever. So now, you’re going to prepare to, cut your shirt in
half ; basically. And that’s what I did here, and I just make sure that-that’s where I want it. *Music plays in background* Now, what you could do, is get you a marker and mark along those lines where you want it to be cut, but in my case, I was rushing,
sooo… There you have it. Like I’m just gonna wing it; see how it goes. Now what I’m going for, is a, high-low
shirt, so what I did was, I lined up the collar part of the shirt with the back part
of the shirt, so it’ll be high in the front and low in the back. As you can see how it’s uneven right there *Beginning of same background music* *Continuation of background music* *Continuation of background music* *Continuation of background music* *Continuation of background music* *Continuation of background music* Alright, now that you see, I have my
shirt cut the way I want it. You see, it’s a the high-low but it’s definitely uneven, and I’m not about to wear it like that. So, you see, if that’s the desired look that
you wanted, and that’s how I want it, and now I’m just going to tape the
bottom, as if-so it looks clean. And I- you can see, I already taped the shoulders, and made it look like a boyfriend tee. Now I just have regular, cheap, tape, so you might want to
fabric tape for the best results if you don’t plan on sewing; if you don’t know
how to sew ’cause that’ll work a lot better, and you can see I taped the bottom, and
next thing you’re going to do is just fold it back to its original position. I guess you could say. Pull down the fold, and now you have your little, high-low shirt. And this is the final, result. This is how I’m gonna wear it. You can see, I taped it, folded it in half, taped the bottom; fixed it. And thanks for watching this video! *Out-tro music*
