Lumiere costume—Behind The Scenes—Halloween 2016

The pedestal at the base of the costume is made out of paper mache. The gold leaves that hang from the hands are made out of modelling clay. The decorative rings around the costume are made out of metallic fabric, sowed into tubes and then stuffed with fluff from a stuffed animal. The candle hat is made out of poster board, wrapped into a tube and then decorated with modelling clay to make that drippy wax effect. That’s a silicone nose glued to my face with spirit gum and then covered with ordinary white clown paint and eyeliner to create the eyelids. My body is covered with a metallic gold morph suit that has the left leg cut off and sown up. And this is my amazing assistant Lisa who is a DIY genius and has made my costumes for the past 5 years. *music* Hey, I’m Josh Sundquist, thanks for watching! Let’s have a contest. I’ll send an advance copy of my debut novel ‘Love and First Sight’, as well as the actual golden pedestal used in the base of the costume to one randomly selected person who is subscribed to my YouTube channel and who leaves a comment on this video. Try the grey stuff, it’s delicious, don’t believe me? Ask the dishes

  5. Hey Josh, Halloween's only two months away and I wanted to give u some suggestions. A brain (with the your leg being the brain stem), phone stand, lollipop, Thor's hammer, Jack/Charlie in the box, a traffic light, Hiccup Haddock the third, or Jesus on the cross with a fake body and your leg being the post.
