In this video we see a new method of working embroidery on the knitted piece. This method is called “INTARSIA” When our design demands various colours in yarn through out the row then we have seen Fair Isle for that. See this design of fish here we have to use one colour for 24-25 sts and then again original colour. See this design of fish here we have to use one colour for 24-25 sts and then again original colour. See this design of fish here we have to use one colour for 24-25 sts and then again original colour. Now this will leave a long floating yarn on WS and our work will not be comfortable for wearing. So for such designs we have to use this method called, Intarsia. See this method does not leave long floating yarns on WS neither it’s border shows gap when colours are changed. For sample, let us make the heart, here there is only 1 st at the lowest point. I CO 21 sts, knit 10 sts with brown colour , join blue yarn knit 1 st. Now remaining 10 sts are again brown. But we don’t use here the same working yarn. We join second ball of the same colour and knit 1 by that new working yarn just joint. Now remaining 10 sts are again brown. But we don’t use here the same working yarn. We join second ball of the same colour and knit 1 by that new working yarn just joint. Hence two different balls we use for left and right sides of that heart. Work by brown colour purl sts. Now I want 3 blue sts. So before working with blue cross the brown and blue yarns over each other and then work so that there will not be gap. After 3 blue, use other brown ball for working remaining purl sts. But before using it cross the blue and second brown ball yarn over each other so that both the yarns will be snarled in each other. Every time when you change the colour both yarns should be wrapped on each other Please Like …., Share … and Comment ….. Please subscribe the channel. Please subscribe the channel.
