  1. You are using very high quality materials and create a compelling video, but the shape of the shirt around the waist turns me off

  2. i want to love quality clothing but at $75 (US) and knowing damn well these awesome sewing ladies don't make $150,000 (US) a year… I'd rather choose to quote the poet laureate Macklemore;

"they be like "Oh that Gucci, that's hella tight!"
    I'm like "Yo, that's fifty dollars for a t-shirt!"
Limited edition, let's do some simple addition
Fifty dollars for a t-shirt, that's just some ignorant bitch shit
I call that getting swindled and pimped, shit
I call that getting tricked by a business, that shirt's hella dough
And having the same one as six other people in this club is a hella don't
Peep game, come take a look through my telescope
Trying to get girls from a brand, man, you hella won't
    Man, you hella won't"

  3. I usually hate this sort of overplayed claptrap, but she's absolutely right in saying that the white t-shirt currently epitomises 21st century modernity, that and elastane blends…

  4. The perfect white T shirt is cost effective, this isn't. It needs to be max $45, which is the same price of the Ralph Lauren, anymore than that is just exxagerated branding….

  5. Mr. Porter, please bring back your "5 ways to wear…" series. I loved those vids and still occasionally go back to watch some of them.

  6. probably the best clothing video I've seen, it's so freaking good! why Mr Porter never shows their video crew credit? They are setting the standard.

  7. The perfect white tee is:

    1. Not see through, but thick enough without being scratchy
    2. Hugs your body
    3. Not the shirt in this video

  8. Its crazy how lately the most prestigious clothing brands have been choosing Portugal to get their clothes, but for instance the Portuguese police get their uniforms made in Pakistan full of errors and mistakes.
Never the less, im very proud to be Portuguese and that my country is making some of the finest shirts out there.
