Monster High Draculaura Dress Cake Tutorial | Halloween Cake | Kids Cooking and Crafts

– Hello everybody. Welcome back to Kids Cooking and Crafts. I’m Ava, and today, since
Halloween is upon us, I will be showing you how to make a DIY Monster High Dress Cake. Today we have here
Draculaura; she’s a vampire. I mean, look at how adorable she is. She’s so cute. She has fangs. And over here, we have Frankie Stein. She’s a Frankenstein
and she’s adorable too. But we’re not gonna use
her for this video today. You’re just gonna have to stick around and watch her video next time. Okay, let’s get started. Let’s unbox Draculaura. Have you guys ever watched Monster High? ‘Cause I have, and it
was actually pretty good. Okay, there we go. I mean, look at her shoes. It’s like they can fly by themselves. Wooosh. Here’s a description of Draculaura. So some of the advantages
that a Draculaura has is that she can fly and some of the things that she can’t do is see
herself in the mirror. All right, now let’s do this thing. (Crash sound) So the cake that we’ll be doing
is pink and chocolate cake. I already put the pink
one on the cake spinner and I put a little hole in it
with this puncher right here ’cause that’s where her legs are gonna go. So let’s do this with the chocolate one. Press it down. – [Woman] Dig it out. – Look. There, see? Now there’s a hole. Before we stack it, I’m gonna put some frosting
on it so then it’ll stick. Let’s use this ginormous bag of purple. Okay, that’s enough to make it stick. Oh yeah, that is perfect. Okay, time for another layer of frosting. Now I’m gonna alternate with another pink. Hey, I’ll grab all of it. Watch this. Ready? Blink. (giggles) it’s like a mini cake. Whoa, that one was clean. Hopefully it doesn’t break. (gasps) We are going to add a fifth layer because her legs are so tall. I mean, look how tall she is compared to the fourth layer of cake. Falling apart. Okay. Nothing a little frosting can’t fix. Okay, now we need to round
it so it looks like a dress. There we go. Frost the top. Okay, there. Woo. It kinda looks
like pink cheeseburger. Have you guys seen our cheeseburger cake? You guys should go watch
that one after this. There we go, it is a magnificent cake. Oh, I just wanna eat it right now. But first, let’s put Draculaura in. Here we go! Boing. Oh, yeah. Oh no, gotta put her arms up in the air. She does not care. There we go. I think we should put her hair up. Aww, she looks so cute. (giggles) So, for this one, I’m gonna
use the black frosting since she likes wearing black. I’m gonna make a petticoat on her dress and then I’m gonna put stripes in it. She’s just gonna pretend like she’s on a roller
coaster for a little bit. Peekaboo. Now we’re gonna use the blue and line at the bottom of her dress. I got a really cool tip on
the end so it makes a flower. Watch this. There we go. See how she has the little
skull on her shirt right there? Well, we are going to make candy
melt skulls and crossbones. So what I got here is
bright white candy melts and we are going to melt them in and then cool them into this mold. Yes, mold. Ready, set, go. Hee, hee, hee. All right, look at this, guys. It’s all melted and it shrank a lot. Now let’s put it into our mold. Now I’m gonna use a
toothpick to stir it up so that there’s no air bubbles. Okay, that one’s good. (Fun Halloween music) Okay, while those set, I’m
gonna get my amazing sprinkles and put some around her waist. Check these out. They’re like little tiny bones. And look, there’s some
skulls in there too. That is amazing, and they taste really good. There. Right there. Oh yeah, oh yeah. How does that look? Wooooo. These vampire teeth really hurt my mouth. Now I’m gonna put these pretty pearls on the bottom of her dress. Our skulls are ready. Now let’s pop them out. So what I like to do is flip them over and kind of like carefully
turn it inside out. Okay, first one revealing. One second. Whoa, that is cool. Here comes another. Here comes another. Oh, that looks so cool. Careful, aah. There we go. Now let’s put it on the
cake and then push it in. Okay, now time for the cross bones. There. Okay, so we got our
skulls and cross bones on and I mean whoa, it’s amazing. Time for some close-ups in three, two, one (Fun music) Time to cut the cake. Oh my gosh, this is so crazy. Ready to see the inside? All right. (gasps) Oh, oh, oh no. Whoa, guys, look at this. You can see the different layers. Pink, brown, pink, brown, pink. Okay, let’s see how it tastes. Mmm, that is good. If you like this dress
cake, you may also like our Mulan dress cake
that we just barely made. It was pretty sad. We had to cut her hair. Go watch that next. Thank you guys so much
