person CATIA shivering over the past 15 years the New Jersey National Guard has partnered with the Albanian armed forces through the state Partnership Program to bring real results to both militaries and the people of Albania during this time the New Jersey National Guard has been privileged to facilitate several donations to the government and the people of Albania from fire trucks and tactical vests to school supplies and textbooks our partnership with the Albanian armed forces has had an immediate impact on the lives of adults and childrens throughout Albania likewise because of the trust and respect our soldiers and airmen have developed through these years through this program the New Jersey National Guard and the Albanian armed forces have jointly deployed five military advisory teams to Afghanistan since 2011 and we look forward to training Albanian officers at the American Officer Candidate School run by the 250 4th Regiment in New Jersey the hard work and dedication of both countries is evident in the commitment from the senior leadership of both nations there are challenges to overcome and much work is to be done however I am confident together the New Jersey National Guard and the Albanian armed forces will accomplish our mission fostering a broader and deeper cooperative membership between Albania and the United States of America I'm Derrick Shivaree
