FACULTY FROM THE 2000 01 THROUGH 2016 SCHOOL YEAR. INDIAN PRAIRIE AND NAPERVILLE ARE ALSO IMPACTED. SOME FEMALE STUDENTS SAY THEY ARE BEING SHAMED AT SCHOOL BECAUSE OF WHAT THEY ARE WEARING. THE GIRLS APPARENTLY GOT INTO TROUBLE FOR SHOWING THEIR SHOULDERS. WHY SOME BELIEVE IT IS A DOUBLE STANDARD. I SEE NO ISSUES WITH DRESS CODE POLICIES. IT WAS VERY MUCH SO IMPLYING THAT, I DON’T KNOW, GIRLS ARE THE REASON FOR BOYS LOOKING AT YOU, AND IT IS NOT THE BOY’S FAULT, IT IS BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU ARE WEARING, WHICH IS WHAT I THOUGHT WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Reporter: THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WEAR SLEEVELESS SHIRTS. WHEN STUDENTS QUESTIONED — I WAS TOLD THAT I SHOULD COVER UP BECAUSE BOYS WERE LOOKING AT ME. HE TOLD ME HE COULD SEE MY BACK AND MY SHOULDERS WERE OUT. Reporter: THE HIGH SCHOOL DISH JUNIOR SAYS THEY WERE ASKED TO WEAR BLACK OR BRIGHT ORANGE T-SHIRTS. IT MADE ME FEEL DISCRIMINATED AGAINST IN TERMS OF GENDER. THERE WERE BOYS WEARING TANK TOPS.
