Part 2: Save Money on Back To School Uniform 2019 (Secondary school) | SaveWithElvs

Hey guys welcome welcome welcome back to
my channel Save With Elvs as I mentioned before this a two-part video
because before I spoke up no branded uniform and now I’m going to be looking
more into the branded uniform and seeing where I can help you guys save some
money but if I’m honest it’s very difficult because different schools are
offering different prices and even some primary schools are now charging you know crazy
prices for School uniform with their logo’s on it so this video is probably more aimed at secondary school
students as well because I did a video previously on you know
nursery or like primary school children so little the tiny children so now it’s
more focused on like you know the older generation so I’m hoping to give you
guys some tips and tricks on how you guys can save some money Intro so we have a company called Premier
School Wear where I used to get my school uniform when I used to go to secondary school and if I’m honest
they offer a lot of uniform for schools within the borough so if you need you know uniform with a logo
that’s where you would go like you’d go you can’t find my school
uniform logo in ASDA you have to go to Premier School Wear so that is where I
got majority the prices for secondary school uniforms so some of the tricks and some of
the tips and tricks I’m giving you guys will just help you guys save some money
but it’s whether or not you guys actually do it so the first thing I can definitely say the
first tip i can definitely say is never buy the first price that you see you’re gonna be
hearing me say this a lot but never buy the first price that you see
regardless if you’ve seen a blazer and it’s that price I don’t care you can find it
cheaper somewhere or you can do something to make it cheaper which I will go into further later and Tip number 2 I would definitely say always compare always compare the
different shops the different prices quite similar to tip number 1 but always
always compare you know it doesn’t make sense really to just go out and get
anything especially if you wanted to save money you need to compare you need
to see which one is cheaper and which one is worth my money don’t forget you’ve worked
for this money so its not just gonna go dilly-dallying with anyone you got to make
sure that you know it’s worth what you’re paying for so another one tip I can give for anyone going out there to buy a new school blazer or whether, actually you know what it’s always nice to actually have a brand new blazer when you first start school obviously but if your
somebody who is now in year 8 or year 9 and you know that I can’t be bothered to get a new blazer it’s just going to cost my
parents too much money then this tip is
definitely definitely for you so what I would recommend is going to a
supermarket a high street shop and going to find a blazer so I can link
something’s below for some plain just plain Blazers so different there’s
different high street shops who are offering different prices for Blazers so
there’s like £12 from TU clothing Asda George £10 John Lewis £17.60
eBay £6.99 Amazon £6.99 Erm who else? no too expensive M&S £29 I don’t think so so when going on premier school I saw
that the majority of branded Blazers for £27.99 okay £27.99 for a school blazer
with just a badge on there however on their website or their shop you can
also see that they sell the badges separately for £5.99 so I could like I
mentioned in high few shops before I would go to yep let’s go to Sainsbury’s go the TU clothing section and I would grab myself a £12 blazer and then
I could get myself at £5.99 badge so £12 plus £5.99 I’ll be paying £17.99 £18! £18 for a blazer that’s basically so £28
your basically saving yourself about £10 I mean and majority of those badges are just iron-on so what extra money are you
actually spending guys if you ask me “now that’s what I call a bargain” I saved myself £10 from buying a blazer mate I hope Premier school don’t go out of
business because of me but I mean you can definitely save yourself some money by
just going to get yourself a badge and going to another shop and getting yourself number 4 if you’re going to get yourself some if you’re going to get
yourself some PE shorts a lot of the time schools are starting to do it branded now as well but you can still buy plain some schools might allow you
to just still wear plain so Premier School Wear are offering shorts for £2.50
and you might think oh yeah like £2.50 is quite cheap yes it is
for 1 it’s not too bad to be honest it but then like I said in tip number
2 compare prices and what i said in tip number 1 never buy the first price
that you see so I mean you can go on eBay and I found a link which I can
also show you guys if you want if you’re interested I found some shorts for £2.45
and £2.40 so saving you 10p I mean it’s 10p that you now have you
know you might think oh I can just pay that 10p you can! but knowing that
there’s a cheaper option out there why not just take it and my last tip for
you guys is to use discount codes I know it sounds easy like arww yeah I could have thought of that but honest to God
a lot of parents don’t really use discount codes and parents are usually the ones buying uniform
but you know what as it is kind of based on secondary school students those who
are 16 you can sign up for UNIDAYS so UNIDAYS is basically a way for you
to save money on a lot of retail brands and high streets so from JD to Apple
they have loads of brands where you can get discounts from up to maybe
45% it just depends what store or brand is offering that discount but it’s
always good to use discount codes so you don’t have to pay full price for
anything and especially with secondary schools people start to wear branded
stuff a lot more such as trainers like Huaraches or like Air Forces
so they could potentially be going up in price because they know that everyone’s
going back to school and they might want to be wearing or rocking that in school so see if you can
get yourself a discount through UNIDAYS you need to be 16 like I said
and you need to able to log in with a school email portal so that is my 5th tip for
secondary school students or those who are getting branded uniform I hope i’ve allowed you to think about ways of how you can save money and that is my
ultimate goal and no one wants to buy anything full price I definitely don’t so I hope i’ve helped you guys
save some money and so yeah I hope that you know you’ve been able to pick up
some bargains and let me know how you get on and comment below what other
videos you like to see me do and how you can save some money so thank you for
watching Save With Elvs like and subscribe thank you so much bye bye
