Prom Attire Controversy

Prom Attire Controversy

WAS SOLD LAST NIGHT IN TRENTON. THE $429 MILLION JACKPOT IS THE SEVENTH BIGGEST IN POWERBALL HISTORY. A HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT WAS THROWN OUT OF HER PROM AFTER IGNORING THE WARNING NOT TO WEAR A SUIT. Reporter: EVER SINCE ANIA WOLF WAS A LITTLE GIRL, SHE DRESSED LIKE A BOY. I HAVE BEEN LIKE THIS SINCE I WAS LITTLE. Reporter: SHE IS NOT TRANSGENDER. SHE WAS BORN AS A GIRL AND IS A GIRL, BUT SHE DOESN’T LIKE TO WEAR GIRLY CLOTHS. SHE IS A LESBIAN. THROUGHOUT HER SCHOOL TIME, HER UNIFORM WAS STRICTLY A SHIRT AND PANTS, AND SOMETHING WAS CHANGED. IT’S UPSETTING TO HEAR THAT HER ATTIRE WILL NOT BE PERMITTED. Reporter: AN E-MAIL SAID THAT GIRLS HAD TO WEAR DRESSES TO PROM. I HAD READ THE DRESS CODE GIVEN TO STUDENTS, AND I DIDN’T THINK IT PRECLUDED HER FROM WEARING A SUIT. I SAID IT WAS UNFAIR PARTICULARLY AT THE LAST MINUTE. WE HAD GONE OUT AND WORE A SUIT. I THINK MY DAUGHTER IS BEAUTIFUL IN A SUIT. Reporter: SHE HAD BEEN LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS NIGHT FOR SO LONG, SHE WENT, AND SHE GOT THROWN OUT. I DON’T THINK MY EXPERIENCE SHOULD BE ANY DIFFERENT BECAUSE IME DIFFERENT. Reporter: A SCHOOL OFFICIAL TOOK HER BY THE ARM AND SAID SHE WOULD CALL POLICE, SO SHE LEFT. A LOT OF THE GIRLS’ DRESSES, THEY DO SHOW A LOT SKIN.
