Reasons A Uniform Program Might Not Be A Good Fit For Your Company

So today, what we we’re going to talk about,
is the reasons that a private uniform program might not really be a good fit for your company. This is going to sound crazy, because as a
Model employee, I should be saying, “Yeah, you need to be in a uniform program. It would be great if you bought a uniform!” But the truth is, we have to appreciate that’s
not really right for everyone, right? Companies for all shapes and sizes out there
and this concept doesn’t work for everybody. So, what we’re going to do is talk about a
couple reasons to help you understand if a uniform program is actually a good fit for
you or not, OK? So, the first one that comes to mind, is umm,
you really don’t have the money to put your employees in uniform. You’re a very small business, very small company,
couple of employees. OK? You know, maybe those employees are kind of
satellite employees, work from home. They obviously don’t need to be in a company
uniform. There’s no way you can use a uniform to promote
your brand through those employees. OK? There’s other ways you can promote your brand. A uniform program is probably not one. So that’s just one, where you don’t have the
budget, to kind of put people in a uniform. OK? Another reason it might not be a good fit
for you, is because your employees aren’t public facing. Ok, and what I say by public-facing, is they’re
not out in front of the public, extending your company brand. OK? We think of a lot of, you know, big service
companies. Maybe like a UPS, umm FedEx, their employees,
a lot of them are out in the field making deliveries, working on water lines. Umm, you know on gas and oil pads, Ok, so
these guys should be identifiable. So if they’re in the public eye, you should
have a company branded uniform on their backs. So the public knows who they are, but if you
don’t have employees that are out in the public, again there is no need to promote your brand,
because no one is seeing your employees. That’s just another thing to consider, Ok. So one more I want to touch on, really plays
into some current clients that we have, Ok? If your employees want to wear kind of the
latest fashion trends, Ok? We work with a lot of people who use those
types of ideas in a uniform program and don’t get me wrong, a lot of times it works well,
Ok? But the latest fashion trends are always changing,
Ok? It’s very difficult to essentially maintain
a uniform, to maintain your company brand, with changes in fashion, Ok? So, that’s one thing to consider, if your
able to get it in a uniform, it will be a better fit for you, but again if you really
want to stick with fashion, it’s not necessarily a uniform program, Ok? Doesn’t mean you can’t find what you want
out there, but it’s probably not a uniform program So those are just some things to consider
when identifying, you know, if a private uniform program is going to be a good fit for you. If you want some additional options, we got
a text-based article over at modelapparel.com, I’d like you to check out or give us a call,
cause we’d be happy to talk to you.
