Save Money on Back To School Uniform 2019 | SaveWithElvs

Hi guys welcome to my channel you are here
with Save With Elvs and today we’re going to be talking about back to school
uniform so if your parent or guardian and you’re thinking where is the best place
to buy school uniform for my child then I’m here to help you do just that Intro so of course you have seen a lot of adverts where it’s saying back to school back to school back to school back to school back to school but your thinking what is worth my money though where can I get cheap uniform because
you know some parents would say of my my child’s grown out of this or I’ve got to buy you
stuff every month and you know uniforms are now way too expensive and one
thing I can say that this video will definitely be focusing on is unbranded
uniform so those that don’t have like the company logo or the school logo so
it’s mostly focusing on you know like plain jumpers plain skirts trousers
and polo shirts so I will be doing another video part for secondary school
students and there will be tricks and hacks on how to get your uniform so there will be
some tricks and hacks on how to bring your uniform prices lower as a secondary
school student so in no particularly order I’m just going to be talking about
and the prices that some of these supermarkets are offering and whether it
is affordable for you or you know just saying you guys know where is the
cheapest place you can go so Sainsbury’s so Sainsbury shoppers can get a full school
uniform for about £13.50 and that includes 3 shirts 2 sweatshirts
and 2 skirts but they are so that’s for £13.50 but they are also offering
pairs of trousers so if you wanted to get that instead of the skirts its saying from £7 so remember as well From £7 doesn’t necessarily mean that it is
£7 so ‘from’ could even mean that it’s £9 so be careful when
you’re reading ‘from’ it doesn’t mean that is the guaranteed price now I’m moving
on to the Tesco so Tesco’s a clothing brand is F&F what you can get at Tesco
is 2 packs of polo shirts from £3.50 2 packs of trousers from £7
sweatshirt from £6 so their bundle comes up to £16.50 but your getting 2 polo shirts 2 packets
of trousers and a sweatshirt but then Sainsbury’s was offering 2
sweatshirts and it was still cheaper bit dodge that one I think and now we’re
looking at M&S so I can’t lie this is not really a high street price if I’m
being honest I’m guessing it must be good quality so M&S they are offering a
bundle of £21 for your school uniform
so with that potentially 3 packs of unisex polo shirts from £7
unisex crewneck sweatshirt from £6 trousers from £9 or
skirts from £8 £21 though M&S is that like
necessary but then again like I said sometimes
it’s not price it’s literally about the quality and they are offering 3 packets of
unisex polo shirts compared to the other competitors TU at Sainsbury’s and at F&F Tesco
they are offering 3 polo shirts but potentially 1 skirt 1 pair
of trousers 1 sweatshirt so might not be worth it for you Aldi Oh Aldi so
Aldi is offering a school uniform bundle for £4.50 £4.50! no stop is
this real ALDI is this real are you sure? well Aldi is offering a school uniform
bundle for £4.50 okay so let’s see what you can get with that let’s see so
they are offering 2 packets of polo shirts from £1.75 trousers or a skirt for
£1.75 and a sweatshirt for a £1 is this real? alright alright moving on to Asda Asda are offering £11.50 for a uniform set
okay let’s see what you get with that though so you get a 2 packet of polo
shirts from £2.50 trousers/skirt from £5 and a jumper from
£4 so yeah I mean you get 2 packets of polo shirts trousers a skirt and a jumper from £4 I mean okay so M&S was the most expensive with £21 like that is like that is a
lot for someone who’s trying to save money or you know you want a bargain
like that’s not really a bargain to be honest
£4.50 is a bargain you’re getting all these things and you know
what if you get 3x of Aldi’s £4.50 and you know times that by
3=£13.50 and that’s the same as what Sainsbury’s are offering
but you can get so if i was to buy Aldi’s uniform set 3x I would
have 6 polo shirts thats more than what I would have gotten
in Sainsbury’s with only 3 and then I would have been able to get 3
trousers or skirts and 3 jumpers if I had went to Aldi so that’s still more that is insane so from there its is still a bargain because you are getting if you go to a Aldi you are able to get 3 sets for £4.50 with a total of £13.50 which is equivalent to Sainsbury’s TU Clothing and you get more so parents if you ask me I think I know where to go so also one thing that they don’t really talk about but you might be
eligible for this is help towards your children’s school uniform so a lot of
parents who and there are parents out there who might have more than five
children might have more than three children or might not have you know a
job that could really afford paying for all these uniforms so the government as
always are always willing to give a helping hand for those who struggling to
make ends meet so yeah with this I’m sure you can just
go on to the GOV website and they can redirect or you know the
local authorities website so you can find relevant information for education
and hopefully you can get some help there and I’m sure they probably have a
cut-off date probably and so it’s definitely worth checking if you are
eligible for money £150 towards helping with your child’s or children school uniform and yeah so I hope this video has
helped you get insight on what some of these stores and supermarkets are
offering when it comes to when it comes to school uniform and obviously there’s
a lot more supermarkets that I haven’t mentioned such as B&M or Matalan or
Poundland but you this is just a lot for me to cover but I’m sure that
they all offer something but as we saw today I think that I do think that
Aldi would be hard to beat lets have a look actually if Lidl Lidl school uniform oh ! they are also offering £4.50 so this consists of 2 Polo shirts 1 sweatshirt and either a pair of trousers skirt or
shorts the same price as Aldi so I mean Lidl and Aldi are definitely the ones
they are you know what if you want to save money and it’s still probably very good
quality I would definitely head over to Lidl or
Aldi straightway while stocks last and get yourself the school uniform
bundles so leave a comment below on what store you think you’ll be
going to to get your child’s school uniform and disclaimer this is for 2019
UK stores only thank you for watching my video Save With Elvs and I hope
I’ve helped you guys save some money
