Place your fabric on fold, making sure it’s
evened out Then place your back pattern on top Use the remaining fabric, to cut out the front Now cut out the sleeves, and bottom part as
well I’am adding another layer to the bottom part of the dress Black chiffon fabric
Cut out 4 circular pieces, which you’ll join later on Take the lining, and use the same patterns to cut out, but this time, don’t cut out the sleeves, or the bottom part Take the bottom part that will be pleated,
and join the two sides as well I used a french seam for finishing Now take the sleeves, and join the seams They will then be joined to the dress
I will add elastic to the cuff for a slightly gathered look Take the lining, and join it to the main fabric at the neckline After that, i made bias binding, from the black chiffon, i had measured the neckline
beforehand , to get the measurement Once done, go back to the sleeves, and attach the elastic like so Now take the black chiffon pieces and join them all Then gather them to fit the bottom of the
dress This piece will be layered on top of the first
piece which i pleated Now join the two layers together, and join
them to the bottom of the dress
