Tai Chi Tips – Easy Tai Chi for Beginners – Leisurely Tying the Coat (2019)


Leisurely Tying the Coat Chen Style. Starting with our feet in Parallel, hands have just finished our Open and Close. First side. Right hand up, left hand down.
Left foot out. Transfer our weight to the left and start
the circle. We carry on that circle. Once we get to the
top, palms face. We’re going to tap in or lift. And do that little squeeze. Heel out.
We turn the hands. Transfer the weight. Left hand’s coming all
the way down the centre line and the right hand is coming up. Bring that left foot forwards. Open and Close. Second side. Left hand up this time, right
hand down. Right foot out. We’re transferring the weight, starting that
circle with the arms. Carry on the circle, palms face. We’re going to tap or lift. Do
the little squeeze. Heel, turn those hands. Transfer the weight. Right hand down and left
hand up. Stepping in with our right foot. And we Open and Close.
