All righty. I have my Huggable Images doll, Rio. He’s a newborn size, I have a 0-3 month snowsuit from The Children’s Place. And I have the very popular Chicco Keyfit infant seat with headrest and infant insert. I have the straps loosened all the way right now. So I can get Rio buckled up. The straps are coming from wellll below his shoulders. Making sure, like the lady in the other video, there is no twist. I want the straps laying wide and flat like they should be. Buckle buckle buckle but not yet tightened. I’m going to pull the slack *up* from the hips and leave the chest clip down for now. I’m going to pull tight. Slack is out at the hips and pull tight again. I am passing the pinch test on both sides. And I’m going to pull tighter, which is not something you need to do. I think everybody has decided that that is too tight for a child. You can see where it’s compressing everywhere. Without loosening it, I’m going to remove Rio, take him out of the snowsuit. Set that aside for now. Going to put him back in, I have not loosened or tightened the straps while removing him. I tightened it so much, remember, it compressed everything. Now look. I made it so tight on him before. I can lift him out of this. One arm, there’s the other. His pants are coming off. I can lift him out with little difficulty. A crash is far more violent.
