Tubular CO 1×1 Rib Stitch for Sweater, Cardigan/ ट्यूबलर पद्धतीने टाके घालणे, १x १ रिब स्टिच

Hello friends, myself Alka welcome you to Kalopasak. In this video we shall see this beautiful method for cast on. This is called TUBULAR CAST ON method. There are different methods of tubular CO for 1×1 and 2×2 rib stitch. The characteristic of this method is we don’t see the edge any where. Seems that the stitches come out from back side. This method is used for the bottom start or for the neck start. We have to work 2-3 rows more but it is worth because it looks very beautiful. Now we shall see how to work tubular cast on for 1×1 rib stitch. We shall require one crochet hook and scrap yarn. Make slip knot by scrap yarn. Either we use double pointed or circular needle. Using crochet hook cast on the half of the stitches required for your work. For example if you have to CO 80 sts for neck start then in tubular CO we have to CO 40 sts only. Put the knitting needle on the yarn as shown. YO the crochet hook, get the st out and place the working yarn on back side again. Repeat again. Means YO get the st out from crochet hook and place the working yarn again in the back of the work or needle. Thus 2 sts are cast on. For 1×1 rib stitch, there is no restriction, you can CO even or odd number of sts. After the required number of sts, make 3-4 chains and remove the other end of the scrap yarn out. Thus we have CO 7 sts with the help of crochet hook. Now join the normal working yarn and work the row as all knit. R 2: All purl and Row 3: All knit. We are on wrong side. This row is important. P 1, then go three rows down and with the right needle, pick up the first pink st and place it on left needle. Now work this st as knit for which put the yarn on back side and work knit. Then yarn on front work P 1, Again insert the right needle three steps below and pick up next pink st in between two white sts and place it on left needle. Because we have to work it as knit so yarn on back and knit the st. Repeat this for all 7 sts. Similarly last st. It clearly looks like 1×1 rib stitch. It clearly looks like 1×1 rib stitch Now work our usual 1×1 rib stitch that means K1, P1 on both sides. After 3-4 rows of 1×1 rib remove this scrap yarn. Open the knot and the remove each white st and the scrap yarn is removed. See friends, how beautiful it looks! Even edge is not seen any where. Hope that you like this method of cast on.
