Tucson veteran’s uniform, medals stolen


I’m a thank you meanwhile he sacrificed his life for our country and he is hoping the community can help get his medals and uniform back after they were stolen along with this car earlier this month news for Tucson Citan elk on fire has our story Scott anchors has many prized possessions but one extra special to him is his dress blues anchor served in the Marine Corps during the Iraq war but on July 13th his car along with his uniform six medals and three ribbons were all stolen from a parking lot in Midvale Park what was the six I was leaving for the day and I discovered in my car between 2:00 p.m. and and if I quartered the six my car was uh was going he says he left his keys in the car law enforcement was able to locate and return his vehicle about a week later but unfortunately his uniform and medals were no longer in the vehicle I had a check in there and some other items that that are gone now but that’s the number one thing is the my dress blues because I was actually in a ceremony back in 2004 with a gentleman named Desmond dolls back in Virginia and he was a Medal of Honor winner they made a movie about him called hacksaw Ridge and I was I was wearing that same uniform for anchors his uniform is about honoring the men and women who serve our country he hopes sharing his story will help him get back his uniform so he can continue to wear it proud it just hurts that that that my uniform is is out there who knows what happened to it I don’t I don’t know I hate even speculate if it’s in the trash if it got in the trash or if it’s in someone’s floor if you have any information on his missing uniform or medals you’re asked to call 88 Crime reporting in the newsroom I’m Janelle Kahn fair news for Tucson
