UPCYCLING – De camisa a vestido

I have two shirts going around my wardrobe this one belong to my cousin and she have left it at my place this other one I don’t have an y idea where is coming from but I was thinking could join them and make a dress I’m very sure of this to be honest but if I wait to be 100% sure of everithing I make I wont make anything go and find two abandoned shirts we have work to do are u ready? let’s do it this shirt armhole was bigger than this one to make it smaller I just reduce 1 cm on the sideseam and 1 cm on the shoulders seam notice that I didn’t cut it jet and join the sleeves with the regular sewing machine I try it own and am sure it fits me ok now I’ll sew it with the overlock for the lenght I want to join the two shirts I will do it by overlaping them now I’ll cut the shirt under will cut it leaving some extra space just in case and will sew the togwther following the original hem seam to close the buttoning the best is to close the under shirt and sew the upper one following the seam most likely is that your machine, as same as mine will have problems sewing this part because of its thickness what I did was to sew the first layer and then sew following the buttoning seams to close it and keep everything in place inside I overlock around the edges the seam with the sleeves and that’s it I really like it! the only thing I would like to change is to take advantage of the buttoning and make it tighter if you will like to see how I make the adjustments leave me your comments so I would consider them another thing I liked of this project is that u wont have any waste because the piece we cut can be use as a top we don’t waste anything here!! if you have questions or comments, write me, if you want to see more videos like this, thumbs up and subscribe until next time bye
