What To Wear With Black Jeans

What To Wear With Black Jeans

Hi! Welcome to Style Peace Happiness, I’m your
host, Daisy and today we’re going to talk about what to wear with Black Jeans. So I love silk shirts, I love how they feel
on my skin I love how they dress up any outfit, really
in my mind I think I could wear a silk shirt with almost anything
Almost And I would feel freaking good in it
Umm, so I would pair it with the black jeans So I picked a yellow silk shirt
I have two Just two, I don’t think I need a whole lot
But I’d wear a yellow silk shirt As you can tell the look is pretty plain
It doesn’t have a lot of frills, and thrills and that sort of thing
And i like that for a reason because you can sort of choose how much stuff you want to
layer it with If I want to be pretty basic and plain and
say I was wearing it with some sparkly shorts, I ‘d just wear this and those sparkly shorts. But since I am wearing it with black jeans
and the silk shirt, I might wanna throw some more fun to it and in this case I would pair
it with some earrings Now I’m just gonna zoom in a little bit so
you can tell But the earrings are red and what I like about
this is the contrast I love when colors contrast
One of my favorite looks is very basic and you’re gonna be like why am I watching this? But stick with me
Is pairing a black jean with a basic t-shirt For all intents and purposes
And yes, this is very true of me Except just maybe substitute whiskey with
scotch Umm, but seriously, you can wear black jeans
with a t-shirt and some cool boots Now if you wanna take it up a notch
To add a little bit more drama to this look, to take it beyond just the basic jean and
tee look, then I would pair it with some really cool kick-ass shoes
And I’m a cheetah person so you’re gonna have to… Bam! You’re gonna have to pair it with cheetah
shoes for me, but if you like red shoes, or if you have a pair of shoes that really gets
you feeling like you can take over the world Then why not pair it with that
And it doesn’t have to be a brown t-shirt this is just what I have handy
But if it’s a white t-shirt then you have some sort of graphic print to add some fun
to it and then some cool kick-ass shoes Or if you don’t have those handy, you can
also pair it with a hat. Now, I think it’s interesting, hats are cool
I have a big head, and so, I have trouble finding hats that fit me
But for the most part, and this is actually going through several states of disrepair
But umm, wearing ti with a hat is kind of cool, it’s original and not a lot of people
are out there wearing it so it kind of makes you stand out a little bit
And look like you put a lot more effort than you probably did
Next up, I would wear a white shirt. Now I didn’t pick a super plain white shirt
for this because I thought I’d just oomph it up a little bit. But, this shirt is essentially, umm, call
it my white shirt for today. It’s err, it’s got a lot more detail than
the typical white shirt so it has a zipper on the side, and I do believe it goes all
the way girls. Umm, it also has this V neck at the bottom
at the front here, and this little crochet, lacey.. I think it’s crochet kind of pattern at the
top. It’s got this like little, pretty detail. And what I would do, is I would wear this
with jeans, and some boots and call it a day. Why I’d do that is, I think that the level
of detail on the shirt, it’s a matter of balancing details and balancing how much drama you bring,
is good. If I had a simple black hat, like a smaller
shorter black hat, I might throw that on top I might throw a leather jacket on top, and
call it even… I wouldn’t do a whole lot because again I
don’t want it to detract from the level of detail with the shirt. Next up a flirty top. Now a flirty top is kind of one of those you’re
like, what the hell do you mean flirty top? And, when I say that I mean a top that’s slightly
sexy but not too revealing. Maybe it’s shorter, maybe it’s a little sheer,
maybe it’s a lower cut. Umm, but it’s a top that definitely makes
you feel like you are kinda bringing your assets tot he world, but you’re not overdoing
it. And I picked this one out… No real rhyme or reason other than that umm.. It’s flirty and I needed a top. But it doesn’t necessarily mean you need a
cream lace blouse to wear with your jeans, I think you could also wear any of the aforementioned
flirty tops. Umm.. so the top I picked is lacy so what
I would wear with this, wouldn’t be a lot because I feel like when you have something
that has this much detail… I don’t know if you can tell but it’s a lot
of detail. When you have something with this much detail,
you don’t wanna overdo it. So, I might pair this with some basic black
boots, so it would be black jeans, black boots and this flirty top. Or I might pair it with some golden hoop earrings,
if I feel like it, or pearly earrings. Essentially the focal point is the top, so
everything else I’ll be wearing will be plainer, laying a supportive role. Next up.. and ironically this is a look I’m
currently wearing, umm, but it is to wear the jeans with a jean shirt. Now there’s a really important trick to this… Which is, don’t wear the same shade other
wise it looks really.. bad. Umm, what I would do is wear two different
shades. If it’s a lighter jean shirt with a darker
pair of jeans, you’re good but if it’s even a darker shirt with a lighter pair of jeans,
also good. But if it’s the same shade, that’s where it’s
like unh-uh honey, don’t do that. So I would just pair it, and it kind of makes
it a cool interesting look but pair it with the jeans, maybe to throw it on top, I’d add
a bit more drama with like say a necklace? I like those cuff necklaces,I don’t have a
choker on hand, but you can also wear it with a choker, or a necklace that has some sort
of design… Not to busy, you don’t wanna layer a whole
bunch of necklaces on there because the look is already kind of different, so then it’s
just like, there’s a fine line between wearing something different and then just going overboard. Now the last look is a blazer, and I would
wear the blazer essentially a lot of the things I paired it with, I would wear it with a t-shirt,
it becomes this really cool, really simple look. Where it’s kind of dressed up a little bit. Or I would also wear it with a plain white
shirt, again my example isn’t plain, but then again it gives you a feel for both ways. Now I’m not crazy about it, because when I
do wear it with the shirt, it kind of covers those cool details I talked to you guys about
earlier, which kind of shows the importance of simplifying it when you have a shirt that
has a lot of detail. Now I’ll bring out the leather jacket because
I live in leather jackets like a lot. Umm, and a leather jacket would work well,
if you wanted to say wear it with a crop top if you’re feeling adventurous and daring or
if you wanted to wear it with the t-shirt, that’s always a good look that just looks
great. And this is debatable probably with some people,
but I could throw it on top of the jean shirt. So that wraps up what to wear with black jeans,
I hope I gave you a ton of ideas, as to what you can look at into you closet and find ways
to wear it. If you have any suggestions, head on over
