Working with Big Brand Ideas – Fabric IT


My name is Jon Butler, I’m the Managing Director
of Big Brand Ideas. We’re a customer engagement agency with 45
staff based across two sites in Manchester and Macclesfield.
We’ve been working with Fabric for about 6 months now.
Swapping providers was a difficult decision for us, we’d been working with our previous
provider for about 6 years. I think Fabrics approach to getting to know
us as a business and truly understanding what our future goals were, was a real drive for
us making that change. Choosing the right provider is really important in so many ways. You really need someone that understands your
business inside out and understands what you’re trying to achieve, understands the type of
work you’re doing and really gets to know you and gets under the skin of your business.
Appointing Fabric IT was a no brainer for us.
They got to know us really well and spent the time finding out what we were trying to
do as a business and what we were trying to achieve, so it was a seamless transition.
So many businesses just put up with bad IT, but it doesn’t have to be like that.
Making the change can be easy. Migrating to a new provider can be seamless.
It’s just, IT should work, IT should be something that’s in the background that you don’t even
notice. Fabric helps us achieve that.
Changing providers was a serious business decision for us.
Making sure migration was smooth was really important because any downtime can be crucial
for us as a business. Fabric were brilliant and always on hand.
They made sure it was a seamless process. One of the main things that attracted us to
Fabric was that it’s not just a faceless call center that you’re getting in contact with.
They are people that know you and really understand your business and for us, that was really
important. I certainly wouldn’t hesitate in recommending
Fabric to other business owners. Although we’ve only been working together
for a short amount of time, I can see our relationship blossoming into a long term strategic
partnership.
